foreign volunteers participate.
The project "Volunteer in Valaam" concerns
type of tourism which is popular in the West and a bad known in Russia – volunteer’s
vacation.
Agriculture of the Spaso-Preobrazhenskiy
monastery in Valaam is restored by volunteers.

Throughout the successful experience in 2005-2009 years there are invited all interested persons (from 18 years old) to take part
in the project "Volunteer in Valaam-2010". In previous years Valaam has been visited
by volunteers from Russians, Slovenia, France, Belgium, Serbia, England, Sweden,
Czechia, Germany, Poland, USA.
Groups of 50 persons are
